Online Dating Profile Services

Are you tired of waiting for the right guy or girl to come along? Have you wondered if you should try online dating (Match.com? E-Harmony? Yahoo! Personals? Plenty of Fish?), but you feel embarrassed or anxious about setting up a profile? Have you been on an online dating site for a while, but you're not having success? Or have you watched friends have success with online dating services but wondered why it isn't working out for you?

Sounds like it's time to get some help with your profile! Online dating can be a great success (it's how I met my husband!), but your experience with it can depend heavily on how you present yourself. Your online dating profile is your advertisement of who you are as a person—you in all your unique glory . . . with those inevitable imperfections thrown in. It's important for your online profile to be a positive representation of who you are while still being realistic. If you've struggled with what to include on your profile, or you don't have any appropriate or attractive photos to use for your profile, I can help! I've utilized dozens of conversations I've had with men and women about online dating profiles to learn how to enhance a dating service user's chances of meeting the right person. We can work together to showcase your best qualities and highlight your interests so that you can attract the guys or girls who will complement you best.

Profile Writing/Editing Service: You send me the info from your current profile, if you have one. We review what you like and don't like about it. I interview you (on the phone, by email, or in person) so that we can discuss your passions, interests, dislikes, abilities, traits, etc., to figure out how to best showcase who you are and what is important to you. Then we revamp or create your profile to present that information to your potential dates. $120 for up to two hours of discussion about and work on your profile. $55/additional hour.*

Profile Photo Service: Many online dating profiles include terrible photos that turn away potential dates before the process even gets underway! Yet having photos on a profile is usually essential for success in this digital era. What do you look like in natural light? How do you look in your favorite settings? Are you glamorous, low-key, or somewhere in between? What are your favorite activities? Working together, we create flattering, accurate photos of you that will naturally attract the people who are likely to be good matches for you. (To see some examples of portraits I've taken, check out my portraits page.) $150 for one hour of photography in 1-2 locations or with 1-2 clothes changes; basic, natural-looking clean-up in Photoshop; and a set of 15-25 digital images for you to keep. $110 for each additional hour of photography.*

Add-On Service: First-Date Coaching: Do first dates make you nervous? For most of us, the answer is, “Very!” A first date (especially a blind date!) is, in many ways, like a job interview. Even if you meet someone who is perfect for you, it is possible for you to accidentally (or nervously!) misrepresent yourself or scare off your date. How you conduct yourself at that date can determine your future. What do you discuss? What's off-limits? How do you handle issues like who pays? First-date coaching can set you up to walk into your first in-person impression knowing you are confident about how to best present yourself. Up to one hour of discussion of your dating concerns plus one hour of first-date coaching: $120. $55/additional hour.*

*An additional charge of $.48/mi applies to destinations more than 20 miles' drive from my home in Midtown Atlanta. Customer is responsible for additional travel charges per hour for distances more than 100 miles' drive from my home.
